Europe eSIM bundles compared: which countries each one covers

All six Europe bundles in eSIMania's November 5, 2026 feed cover the same 30 countries. They differ on France, the Netherlands, Turkey and Morocco, and that decides which one fits your route.

The Louvre and its glass pyramid reflected in a puddle

eSIMania's listing of November 5, 2026 has six Europe bundles, 40 plans in all. All six share the same 30 countries, then split over France, the Netherlands, Turkey and Morocco, so the cheapest bundle is only a bargain if your route stays inside its list.

The 30 countries every bundle covers

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

The table gives each family's cheapest plan and its 10 GB, 30-day price.

Match the bundle to the route

  • France on the route: skip Europe (35 areas). Its $2.16 plan is 1 GB for 7 days, and France isn't on its list. Europe (33 areas) charges $2.22 for the same plan and includes France.
  • Amsterdam on the route: skip Europe (31 areas), whose list leaves out the Netherlands. It exists only in eSIMania's November 5 feed, where its 10 GB plan for 31 days was $12.87, the lowest 10 GB price of the six bundles. eSIMania's own site had no page for it on November 7, so that price isn't a current listing.
  • Istanbul or the Turkish coast: only Europe (30+ areas), Europe (40+ areas) & Morocco and Europe+ list Turkey.
  • Morocco on the route: Europe (40+ areas) & Morocco is the only one of the six that covers it.
  • Moldova, San Marino or Vatican City: only the 35-area bundle lists them.
  • Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Monaco or Andorra: none of the six does. eSIMania's Montenegro plan starts at $3.15 for 1 GB. Its cheapest Monaco plan is $48.06 for the same gigabyte, about 15 times as much.

What a gigabyte costs on each bundle

Divided by ten, the 10 GB, 30-day prices come to $1.57 a gigabyte on Europe (33 areas) and $1.81 on Europe (35 areas). Europe (31 areas) has no 30-day plan. Its 10 GB plan runs 31 days and was $1.29 a gigabyte in the November 5 feed, the only place it appears.

The other three cost far more per gigabyte: $3.12 on Europe (30+ areas), $4.24 on Europe (40+ areas) & Morocco, and $5.16 on Europe+. Those are the three bundles that list Turkey, and the two biggest also add Serbia, North Macedonia, the Isle of Man and Jersey.

If Turkey is your only stop beyond the 33-area list, moving from that bundle at $15.73 to Europe (30+ areas) at $31.20 costs $15.47 more for the same 10 GB. Buying two plans costs less: the 33-area bundle for the rest of Europe and a 10 GB Turkey plan at $9.93. Together they cost $25.66, which is $5.54 less, and the Turkey plan's 10 GB comes on top of the bundle's. Our Turkey eSIM page has the full Turkey price list.

One bundle, or one plan per country?

Even for one country, a bundle can be the cheaper buy. At 1 GB for 7 days, Italy, Spain and Portugal were $2.01 on eSIMania, under the $2.16 and $2.22 bundle plans. France's own plan was $2.40, though, more than the $2.22 the 33-area bundle charges with France included. At 10 GB, Italy and Spain were $14.34 for 30 days, France $15.00 and Portugal $12.91, all below the 33-area bundle's $15.73.

With two countries, the gap widens. Italy plus France on separate 10 GB plans comes to $29.34, against $15.73 for 10 GB that works in both on the 33-area bundle. The separate plans give you twice the data, so they only pay off if you'd really use 10 GB in each country. If not, one bundle and one install is the better buy.

What about a European SIM card?

You could buy a prepaid SIM from a European carrier instead. Under the EU's roam-like-at-home rules, a plan from an operator in an EU country works across the EU at home prices, and the EU's own Your Europe page on europa.eu says the same regime covers Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Moldova and Ukraine. Other countries are not covered, though the page adds that many operators extend their offers anyway.

That leaves out Switzerland and the United Kingdom, which sit outside both the EU and that list. On a European SIM, a stop in Zurich or London depends on what that carrier chooses to offer there. All six eSIM bundles list both countries.

The clock, refunds and calls

eSIMania says a plan's countdown begins when you arrive in a covered country, or straight away if you install it while you're already inside coverage. So install at home on Wi-Fi, as our eSIM guide advises, and the days start counting when you land. eSIMania's refund page says the QR code stays valid for six months from purchase, and that if no data has been used, you get a full refund when you ask within 14 business days of purchase. A carrier-locked phone has to be unlocked by its network before the eSIM will work.

There's no phone number. Calls go through WhatsApp, FaceTime and other apps over data, and your home SIM can stay on for texts, at your own carrier's roaming rates.

Where the bundles land on popular trips

A first trip to Paris rules out the 35-area bundle, since France isn't on it. Rome works on all six, since Italy is one of the shared 30. For Lisbon alone, Portugal's own plan gave 10 GB for 30 days at $12.91, against $15.73 on the 33-area bundle.

Ride-hailing apps need data at the curb, and the plan is live from the moment you land. Our airport transfers guide weighs them against trains and taxis.

Which Europe eSIM bundles include Turkey?

Three: Europe (30+ areas), Europe (40+ areas) & Morocco, and Europe+. Their 10 GB, 30-day plans were $31.20, $42.39 and $51.60 on November 5, 2026. A Turkey-only plan of the same size was $9.93.

Do these bundles work in the UK and Switzerland?
