Privacy and cookies
What happens to the small amount of information this site handles, in plain language.
HalaTickets is a flight search. We don't offer accounts, we don't ask for your name or email, and we never take payments. This page explains what information is involved when you use the site, and who else is part of the process.
Searches
Flight searches run in a live search box provided by Travelpayouts. When you search, your browser sends the origin, destination, dates and number of travelers you enter directly to Travelpayouts, together with your IP address, so that it can ask airlines and booking sites for current prices. Our own server isn't involved in that search. The “inspiration” fares on our home page come from our server, which asks Travelpayouts for recently found fares from a departure city. We don't build a profile of you from any of this.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our web server keeps standard technical logs: your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of each request. These logs are used to keep the site secure and to fix problems.
Cookies
HalaTickets itself doesn't set cookies to track you. The live search box from Travelpayouts sets its own cookies and uses your browser's local storage to remember your choices, such as currency and language, and to keep your search working when the page reloads. Other third parties involved in the site may also use cookies or similar technologies, as described below.
Third parties
- Travelpayouts is the affiliate network behind our flight search and fare data. The search box on our home page loads from Travelpayouts' servers, and our booking links carry a partner marker, so that a booking can be credited to HalaTickets. Travelpayouts and its partners may use cookies for this.
- Partner widgets. Our trip essentials page includes search forms from Travelpayouts partners for airport transfers, rental cars, eSIM data plans, flight compensation and flights with hotels. They load from Travelpayouts' servers and may use cookies. Anything you enter in them goes to that provider.
- Booking sites. When you choose a fare, you go to the airline or booking site that offers it (for example Kiwi.com, Trip.com or Aviasales). Once you're on their site, their privacy policy applies to anything you enter there, including personal and payment details.
- Google Fonts provides the typefaces on this site. To deliver them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
Booking with a partner
We never see your booking, passport details or payment information. If you have a question about a booking, a change or a refund, please contact the company you booked with.

If the way the site handles information changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
